Assessment of Complications of Inguinal Hernia Surgery

Hernia repair is a frequent elective surgical operation. Unsatisfactory results in some cases have led to the persistence of variety different operative methods. Our study aimed determine frequency postoperative complications with surgery methods and evaluate correlation patient characteristics health. Materials methods: We examined 403 patients an inguinal hernia who underwent hernioplasty, including 98 by method Liechtenstein, 74 Gvenetadze, 231 laparoscopic method. Patients were aged 18-80 years mean age 56.914.6 years. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 22. Results: The total perioperative 52 (53.06 %), according Lichtenstein, 13 (17.57%) 23 (9.96 %) surgery. following observed: damage colon, bleeding from lower epigastric vessels, urinary retention, neuralgia, hematomas, delayed wound healing, higher undergoing Lichtenstein (p <0.05).
